To Live is to Love

and

To Love is to Live forever

and

Forever is Now

Counseling is one of the few win-win situations in life. In a counselor's office one can talk and explore situations and emotions that can be dealt with in no other place or manner. There is total confidentiality. The purpose of counseling is to learn about oneself and one's circumstances without any pressure or intimidation. A counselor's office is a safe place, a sanctuary; but the effects of what happens there can change people who change other people who change the world.

My Goal is

To help you know yourself better so you can enhance yourself and all those around you and to increase your sensitivity to Life, Love and Laughter.

We will do that by Stopping, Looking and Listening to ourselves and everything around us. By understanding the following:

  • There is no psychological security.
  • Relationship is everything.
  • Images are escapes from relationships.
  • Truth is life and life is always changing.
  • Truth is "what is."
  • "What is" is whatever you are thinking, feeling and doing at the moment.
  • Freedom is observation without comparison or measurement.
  • Psychologically there is no past or future, there is only the present.
  • Love is a deepening feeling for life and others- now.
  • Love is not accumulative.
  • Wisdom is knowing that you do not know.
  • Intelligence is understanding one's cravings and desires.

If you understand the above and live it now, you don't need any counseling.

Remember we live on a rock hurtling through space at 70,000 miles an hour to nowhere and through asteroid belts. That is kind of scary but not nearly as scary as thinking and getting involved with other people which is the most dangerous thing a person can do. Ironically, thinking and getting involved with another person is also the most exciting and rewarding thing a person can do.
